My aims are to create an immersive experience that captures the real-life experience and adrenaline of being in a nuclear power station failure; using sound as one of its main components.

The purpose of Sound in our project

Sound has a huge impact on player experience. Currently, I am not sure whether including a soundtrack would be appropriate for the game - as it could take away from the simulation experience. However, the use of real-life recorded sound, “Foley”, is a must. Using these sounds will further establish a consistent, realistic environment, allowing the player to become more immersed in a believable space.

Sound Designer

I have had some experience with Sound Design, having worked on the soundtrack and sound effects for previous projects. However, when taking into account all the assets I already require, within the small-time frame of development, that I have next year, it would be useful to get some assistance.
